Participants who arrive 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM will have to wait, as the registration will be closed and NO CARS will be allowed through the gate while the action is fought. As soon as the action is over and the public cleared away, we’ll re-open registration and cars will once again be allowed into the camps. PLEASE WAIT PATIENTLY.
8:00 PMBrigade and Battalion commanders and staffs, Parks Canada staff.
We will walk through the major Saturday action FIRST, and then discuss other issues and safety regs. We’ll walk out of the Officers’ Quarters at 8:01 PM. Please be on time. This is the ONLY large staff meeting until Sunday AM, and will be as quick as possible. There will be a Saturday AM meeting for the Saturday “Opening of the Lines” Scenario, and a Saturday PM meeting for the “Escalade” scenario. Senior officers only, and ONLY if you are IN the scenario.

11:00 AM “Opening of the Lines” scenario—Artillerists and selected Line infantry from both sides, as the Garrison and Continental forces dig in and open fire. A LONG artillery barrage to advertise our presence. A Crown sally fails and the engagement ends. (Artillery, Herkimer’s Bateaux Company, 1st Brigade only for Crown. Congress TBD)

2:00 PM“Convoy” Scenario begins. (Army)
3:00 PM “Convoy” Scenario complete. Troops return to camp. It is essential that camps, especially inside the fort, remain as authentic as possible during the next two hours as this will be the height of visitor participation. (Both Armies, Civilian Impression safety and Battlefield Control officers)
3:30 PMThe Promenade. Men and women with good civilian impressions (regardless of social class) and a few officers… Part fashion show for the public and part social activity. Women present will receive dance cards. Eight volunteer couples will demonstrate country dancing with period live music. At the Officer’s Quarters by the main parade. (Open to all. 7:00 PMOfficer’s Meeting for “Escalade” — Brigade/Division officers involved in the 8:00 PM Escalade Scenario ONLY. Officer’s Quarters Main Parade.
7:30 PM“Escalade” Scenario — Some CL elite troops take the main bastion, others get crushed trying to storm the outwork as night falls. The heavy guns of Fort Niagara will fire in support of the Continental attack, and boats will fire on the fort. This is a STORMING action and should be short and sharp—one thrust succeeds and another is gunned down. No more than 15 minutes. NO ONE participating on either side of Escalade is getting ONE SIP of alcohol until the fight is over—this is a tough, complicated, fast scenario. (Artillery, 2nd Brigade Line Battalion, Reserve Battalion. Herkimer's Bateaux Company, Congress TBD)
8:00 PMTavern and Dancing commence. If you have a dance card for the first set, better be fed and ready by 8:00!!!
